It’s easiest to apply beard wash while you’re in the shower. Start by thoroughly wetting your beard with warm water, then place a dime-sized amount of beard wash in your palms, adding more if needed depending on your beard’s length. Work it into a lather in your hands, then massage it through your beard and the skin underneath until fully covered. Your fingertips should reach the skin to remove dirt, dead skin cells, and product buildup. Rinse thoroughly with warm water until all suds are gone.

Pat your beard dry with a towel, then follow up with beard oil or beard butter to keep your beard soft, nourished, and looking its best.
