Basecamp Beard Conditioner is a creamy, rinse-out beard conditioner for men designed to soften coarse beard hair, help detangle facial hair, and improve everyday manageability — all without added fragrance.
Used after washing your beard, the conditioner coats each strand to help lock in moisture and smooth coarse, rough-feeling hair. This makes your beard easier to comb or brush while leaving it noticeably softer and more conditioned without a heavy or greasy feel.
Formulated with avocado oil, daikon seed extract, Pro-Vitamin B5, pomegranate fruit juice, and hydrolyzed quinoa, Basecamp helps condition dry beard hair while improving softness, smoothness, and manageability. Unlike beard oil, which is primarily used after your shower to moisturize the skin underneath your beard while conditioning the hair, Basecamp is designed to coat and condition the beard hair itself while you're in the shower.
Work the conditioner evenly through damp beard hair from root to tip, allow it to condition for a few minutes, and rinse thoroughly. For best results, follow with beard oil after towel drying to moisturize the skin underneath and complete your beard care routine.

How To Use
To use, dispense a dime-sized amount of Beard Conditioner into your palms, adding more as needed based on your beard’s length. Rub your hands together, then massage the conditioner evenly into your damp beard hair, avoiding the skin underneath. Leave it on while you shower to allow the ingredients to soften, nourish, and detangle the hair. Rinse thoroughly with water, then towel dry your beard. For best results, follow with Beard Oil or Beard Butter to restore moisture and keep your beard looking and feeling its best. Use beard conditioner 1–2 times per week, and use our Beard Wash daily or as needed to keep your beard clean.

How often should I use beard conditioner?
Use beard conditioner 1–2 times per week to keep your beard soft, hydrated, and healthy. Apply it after washing with our gentle, plant-forward beard wash to maintain a clean, well-groomed look and to help keep your beard hair soft, conditioned, and tangle-free.
If you live in a dry climate or have a longer, coarser, or naturally dry beard, you may benefit from conditioning 3–4 times per week to combat dryness and brittleness. After washing and conditioning, always follow up with beard oil to lock in moisture, reduce frizz, and keep your beard looking its best.
Can I use beard conditioner as a leave-in conditioner?
No, beard conditioner is formulated to be rinsed out after use. For best results, apply it during your shower and leave it on for a few minutes to let the nourishing ingredients absorb into the beard hair before rinsing thoroughly.
If you want a leave-in option, our beard butter is the better choice. It conditions throughout the day, reduces dryness and frizz, and helps create a soft, controlled, and naturally styled beard without feeling heavy or greasy.
Is beard conditioner suitable for all beard types?
Our beard conditioner works best on medium to longer beards, where there is enough length for the product to fully coat, soften, and nourish the hair. Because it is formulated to be applied directly to the beard hair rather than the skin, we do not recommend it for stubble or very short beards. Shorter beards do not have enough length to benefit from a rinse-out conditioner, although we do recommend using a gentle beard wash at this stage to keep the hair clean and healthy.
Can I use regular hair conditioner on my beard?
It’s best to use a conditioner made specifically for beards. Regular hair conditioners are often too heavy for the face and may cause irritation, clogged pores, or buildup. Beard conditioners are formulated for facial hair and are designed to soften, nourish, and detangle the beard hair. They should only be applied to the beard hair itself, coating and massaging it through the strands without being worked into the skin underneath.
Should I use beard oil after beard conditioner?
Yes. Beard conditioner softens and strengthens the beard hair in the shower, but once it is rinsed out, your beard still needs moisture. Conditioner focuses on nourishing the hair, not the skin beneath it. Applying beard oil after washing and conditioning helps hydrate the skin, reduce itch, prevent dryness, and keep your beard looking healthy, soft, and well-groomed throughout the day or night.

I ran out of this conditioner, and didn't restock for months. When I finally got more, I could not believe that I had waited so long! I have a long goo tee , soo after a good beard washing , adding this to my goo tee & letting it sit for just a few minutes before i rinse it out , definatly tops off softness to my goo tee , it does not take much so it goes a long way if you use it spareingly ,i will usually condition my goo tee a couple of times thru a week just depending than lightly towel dry add a few drops of beard oil to the skin under neath than a dab of beard butter for extra conditioning to keep your beard at its best.

I've had the beard wash for awhile now, only takes a little, so lathering and softening. So I decided to try the conditioner since I was almost out of my current one. Best conditioner I've tried. When I use the wash then conditioner together, oh yeah. So, imo, apart, they are two of the best, if not the best, washes and conditioners I've tried, but together it's not even close.

Its unscented but I love the "scent". It smells exactly the same as the conditioner I used from a different company, but with better ingredients. I use it on my beard AND my scalp. My beard tangles a lot because it's naturally curly, however, the conditioner combined with cold water rinsing has been working wonders. If it works for me, it'll work for you.
