8 Pack Beard Oil Sample Kit

I really enjoyed this beard oil sample kit. One of the hardest things about buying an oil online is not knowing the scent and how one will like it. This kit was perfect for sampling different scents and finding ones that I really like. This kit also came with the dark woods pack, which added more scents to sample. After narrowing down my favorites, I will definitely buy more.

Ordered the sample kit and wow! Smelled all of them but have only used Summit Sunrise, Citrus Hollow, and Campside Coffee so far! Will def have to order those! How do you get these amazing scents from just essential oils!

Where do I even begin?

First off, the packaging is excellent—sturdy and well-designed. I can definitely see myself reusing it for travel or even repurposing it as a fly tin for those days out on the water.

Now onto what really matters: the oil itself. I’d describe it as a medium-viscosity beard oil with a great in-beard feel. It made styling a breeze, and I genuinely enjoyed using it.

The scent is noticeable but in a good way—not overpowering at all. The ones I’ve tried have lasted for hours and feature rich, well-balanced profiles. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Some are perfect for daily use, while others I’m saving for special occasions or just when I want to switch things up.

Definitely give them a try—you won’t regret it!

First and foremost, your logo on the tin is frickin awesome! Secondly, your customer service has been responsive every time I've contacted you guys which is truly appreciated. I would recommend a phone number for a true customer service experience.

The fragrances are flat out awesome. Out of the 8 samples; Lakeside Lodge, Rustic Ridge, Sierra Sunset and Timber Trail are over the top absolutely phenomenal scents which just made me a new customer! I'm also sold on Midnight Cruise and am ordering the final three fragrances which sound really intriguing as well on Black Friday.

Fragrances are really captivating and long lasting which is hard to find. I've used so many different companies and this company has captured the true essence in beard fragrance. Looking forward to the adventure! 💪👊🧙‍♂️🦅

Love this sample kit. The packaging and presentation oozes quality. Tin looks beautiful in hand, just as good as the pictures. It’s a keepsake I will hold on to for long time.

Feel in beard is great. Two words come to mind: fullness and manageability. More than any other oil blend I’ve used, my beard just feels burly and thick with this stuff, in a good way… like there’s added volume or something. The comb through was very smooth, even a couple hours after I applied it. My beard looks, feels, and styles great, without the benefit of heat or balm. This oil blend is a winner.

Scents are medium strength, with decent staying power. You will smell it, someone very close to you will, and I’ve found staying power to be decent. Won’t last all day, but won’t give out on you right away either, 3 to 6 hours worth for my nose, depending on the scent. Saddle Creek is my favorite of the bunch so far.

I bought this sample kit to experience the different smells (fragrances), thinking that all oils are created equally. I've been in denial as these are very very very much better, the fragrances are subtle yet are clearly there and don't overpower you, and the oil really does make your beard feel good. I'm shocked by the difference it's made and sad I didn't take the plunge earlier.
Once these are nearly gone I will 100% order more and get them on the plane to Wales UK.

I sure didn’t know what scent I wanted. I had my favorite oil discontinued from another company and needed something that worked, smelled great and didn’t leave my skin too oily (in excess, of course oil has a little residue after blending). Got all of that here with Weatherbeard. When my samples are gone, I will be buying more scents. Especially love the embered nights, orchard breeze, desert dusk and lakeside lodge. Paired with the beard balm, makes care easy after each shower. 5 stars here, zero complaints! The tin is a bonus nice touch. Great packaging/design too. Keep up these great products, you’re 2/2 (solid cologne lover) Wonder what else I’d try…

I've been using these samples for a while now and they're so complex that I found my favourites changing frequently. Feel in beard is very light and clean, I like the balance and it's definitely not oily.

Lakeside Lodge and Southbound I can see myself wearing every day. They're consistent, intriguing and smell very fresh. They don't give me situational vibes like "date night" or "summer scent" and I fell in love with Southbound despite not liking it at first.

Embered Nights... That one was my number one from the start but it's more situational as I LOVE fall season and that one hits me in the feels every time I smell it. Smoked Cherry is great too but not on the level of embered for me. Rustic Ridge is like a cologne, at least that's the vibe I get from it and I like it for a night out. Leathered Woods, Timber Trail and Sierra Sunset are great but didn't stand out as much to me, will definitely continue to wear them though.

These really are the most unique and complex scent profiles I've ever experienced with beard products. I always find myself referring to the bottles or the website to try and figure out what I'm smelling.

TL;DR

Southbound and Lakeside Lodge are my number one and two for every day use.
Embered Nights for the fall, or when I'm camping or engaging in outdoorsy activities.
Rustic Ridge for date nights, it also pairs well with my favourite cologne which is a Vanilla Suede fragrance.

Awesome kit and awesome presentation! I've only ever bought seasonal and special releases, plus Leathered Woods & Smoked Cherry....but all the other mainline scents are super good. I highly reccomend this for yourself or a gift 100%

My husband has loved his sample set! There have been scents that are in the kit that he loves but says he probably wouldn’t have tried them on their own but now he knows to order full bottles thanks to the samples! His beard also looks so hydrated and healthy!

These oils are top shelf quality and scent. I love that I can try them all and pick my favorite. The tin that they come is super cool!

I love it when these beard product companies offer samples. Makes it easier to determine if other offerings are worth getting without being disappointed and wasting a whole bottle (and money). The are several great scent profiles in this kit that will be well worth getting more of in the future.

I have used several different oils, and I believe I have finally found the one I will stick with. The scents are great and not overwhelming. I also noticed that my beard was still soft the following day.

These guys have been on my radar for quite some time now, but I never got around to pulling the trigger until recently. Man, am I happy I finally did! My beard loves this stuff and lives its best life from the moment I rub it on my face. It feels all soft and nourished all day long, even after a hearty gym session. It's lightweight and doesn't leave the hair feeling weighed down whatsoever.

Now, the scents? I'm a glutton for outdoorsy, cologney profiles and these guys seem to have one for every occasion. While writing this, I've tried 4 out of the 8 scents that come in the sample and each one was a home run. The scents are strong without being too intense, and last a solid amount of time. There are a few scents I wish were a tad bit stronger and longer lasting, but that's just personal preference. They are by no means weak or overly subtle.

If you are a fan of sporting a nice flannel and smelling like the most exquisite lumberjack on the planet, these guys are for you. I wore Timber Trail today and every log I walked by split itself. 10/10 would recommend 👏🏻

These new scents are freaking awesome Cory is killing it with his new scents if you're a new beards men or just unsure what scent to get this is the perfect for you because they all are awesome I have had Sierra Sunset Smoked Cherry Embered Nights and Leathered Woods in the original scent before he changed them and there even better now I don't know how he improved them but WOW there even better

I was so happy to see with the rebranding that the sample kit became available. I hate to send $18+ just to find something I don't like. I like exactly 1/2 of the new scents. I didn't expect to like all of them... from Any vendor for that matter. I only gave 4 stars because like some others I am disappointed the old leather and lumber is no longer an option. It was my fav and the new one is just not as good imo. With that said, the balm formula is my favorite of all I have ever tried. It has the perfect hold and melts quickly and easily for application.

Call me a creature of habit or what have you. I know what I like and I stick to it. When I find something I like and use it for a long time and then the company changes the product for whatever reason, I usually don't handle it the best. But this new formula/ rebrand/scents.... is fantastic. You've really outdone yourself and hit it out of the ballpark.

What a Great way to sample 8 different scents. Some of my old favorites + others I have not tried....yet. Found a few new ones that I will be back for in the beard balm. Weatherbeard, you’ve become my “go to” and “only” products I use now. Thanks
