Safety first: A lit candle is an open flame, so always exercise caution. Keep your candles away from drafts, heat sources, and flammable objects. Ensure burning candles are out of the reach of children and pets, and never leave a lit candle unattended.
 

First Burn:
For the best experience, allow your candle to burn until the entire surface melts into an even pool of liquid wax. This prevents tunneling and ensures a clean, even burn throughout the candle’s life. If the wax doesn't melt from edge to edge, it will form a "memory ring," causing the candle to burn unevenly and tunnel on future burns.
 

Ongoing Care:
For future burns, always let the top layer fully melt to release the most fragrance. Keep your wick trimmed to 1/8 inch for a steady, clean flame. We recommend burning your candle for 90 minutes to 2 hours at a time, and no more than 4 hours to preserve the candle's longevity.
 

Storage and End of Use:
Store your candles in a cool, dark, and dry place when not in use. Once you’ve burned your candle down to 1/2" (10mm) of wax, it’s time to safely discontinue use and perhaps explore a new Weatherbeard scent to enjoy.
